This is a bit naughty but I know where you are coming from. If you are reading this Trevor or Shona, it would be a real shame if the JDA folded just because of Geoff's egotistical tilt at the by-election.
My advice would be to ignore the handful of fruitloops saying the JDA must fold because Ted Vibert dared write a letter criticising Stuart (who I support I should point out) and just make sure one of you makes a play for political leadership of the party.
Ted as Hon President is fine and can be very beneficial, not that I thought him getting drawn into Stuart's game of negative politics was very clever, but I think the JDA still need a clear elected political leader of the party too. Too many people still think this is Geoff Southern even though I know he hasn't been Chairman since 2005. Think on it
I see that you are now posting entries on the JDACMB blog. Could you tell me please who was in charge of the blog during the election last year? Thanks!
Theoretically, the whole JDA Council had the log in details to use it, but after "Pandora's" computer broke, only I actually posted or moderated. However material was written by the credited authors and forwarded to me for publication. If you read the articles, some of them explain the situation.
Could you tell me if Ted Vibert personally authored the advertised blog, or was it some kind of collective JDA effort (or otherwise) penned under his name?
Ted indeed personally authored it. I just posted and moderated. When the time came for me to part with the JDA, nobody took it over, and once the HdlGFB crowd noticed the comments were no longer moderated, they abused the opportunity to a degree that forced the blog to be pulled. I believe he has now relaunched a new blog under his own control, but i haven't checked it out yet.
If you read through the whole thread, comment 11 bears out my version. Ted was not actually online at the time, and was forwarding the material through another council member, "Athena", but the content was convincingly in his style, not hers, so I don't think she was forging it. Ted may not have seen where and how it was appearing on the net for himself, however, not having an internet connection, and made a wrong assumption that it was going onto JDAJersey.co.uk. The JDA main site was, and probably still is, run by a professional administrator as a commercial service, but I could publish instantly through blogspot, as his new "technical assistant" is doing.
Ugh, it's who?
The intention is to make this blog wholly content-driven. I do quite enough self-promotion elsewhere around the web, and shall keep my name off this.
That said, if you know me, you will soon recognize me. Hence the title. If you don't it doesn't matter - it is not going to be about me.
In my home island of Jersey, there is much to be dissatisfied about the current government, so, at least at first, most of the posts will be about that. After that, I have no plan; I may expand my subject material, or give up altogether, as the whim takes me.

Very good! But you forgot the little Ted V demon on his shoulder whispering in his ear...

Can I just say Kafka-esque? I don't know what it means or how to spell it but nore does SS. It does sound clever though.

Hi Ugh (sorry I don't know your name!),

Thanks for the reply about the JDA blog.
I didn't realise that. I thought you'd just recently taken charge of it.
This means you may be able to answer a quick question for me about a blog entry from last year;

Ted Vibert was asked about last year's blog on his new blog. He's denying he wrote it.
Its in the comments to this entry:
